Thank you for visiting the personal web site of Ron Piggott.

When I was three years old I had Legg Perthes disease in my left hip. At age five my left hip was rebuilt. The shelf life of this surgery was reached in 2006 when I was 29 years old. In my blog I share about the journey I am on as I try to regain my health and mobility.

Part of my motivation in having this web site online is to share what I am going through for others who have had this disease. As well I am sharing my journey to be an encouragement for people who are struggling.

This web site is also a venue I am able to use in writing about the life lessons I have learned during this journey. It has been very intense. I have had to face my weaknesses continually since when I lost the use of my left hip in the fall of 2006. I believe in God and as I share my personal web site with you I hope you see Jesus' love in my words.

For the people who know me and interact with me on a regular basis please speak up if I have offended or hurt you. I don't take pleasure in doing so. Division really bothers me. If there is ever something we need to work out between us please let me know.

One of the biggest lessons I have learned since my hip troubles began again as an adult is that we need one another. There are a number of people in the health care community involved in my care each month. I value my peers and those I interact with each day. I am willing to listen if there is something you need to say to me.
