Hi.
It's Ron.
I am writing to ask if you would pray for God's healing touch on my hip. I have started taking a few steps for the first time since my surgery without using crutches. I am in a love - hate relationship with my hip right now. I did it. I was able to walk. In fact I walked across the bathroom floor today. (This is all of about 4', but is huge when I couldn't walk on my own a week ago)
The pain is really bad again. I didn't sleep well for the last two nights and I am really worn down and my emotions are a bit of a roller coaster right now. I am starting to find that the surgery was a lot more hard on me physically speaking than I had expected. I don't regret having my hip fixed ... This is the last major step I need to go through in order to be well and walk normal again.
My hip is almost strong enough now to start physiotherapy November 5th.
I guess what I am saying is please pray for the Lord's touch for me while I work my way through this. I am not asking to be taken from the situation.
This past year has come with a lot of heart surgery. God has been bringing me closer. I don't want to abort the process. I am just finding the pain really hard right now. I am afraid it is going to hurt really badly for a while.
