When I was three years old I had Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease in my left hip. My left hip was rebuilt when I was five. After two years of sporadic pain and difficulties walking my left hip failed on October 14th 2006. This is my blog of the journey I am going through to re-gain my health and again establish a normal, stable and healthy adult life.

Screws holes in my left hip are healing!

The holes are now healing. I am finding the pain from the healing process very hard to deal with. Please pray for the Lord Jesus to intervene and to bring His healing touch to these holes. These types of injuries normally take about 6 months to heal.

My right hip needs repairing. The joint has been over taken with arthritis. I had a disease in my left hip when I was 3. The strain placed on my right hip caused the arthritis. It has also affected my lower back and right knee. These are very common side effects from this disease.

I am trying to get my life together as an adult. I have been dealing with these injuries since the fall of 2006 and I am running out of stamina. I am getting really run down by the pain. The medications for pain are draining my energy. The screw removal surgery has made the pain in my left hip nearly out of control. I am finding this really hard again right now.
