Referral To The Hip Surgeon Concerning My Artificial Hip Malfunctioning

When the referral was originally sent from my local hospital it became lost. This only came to light when I advocated for myself on March 20th by couriering a letter to the surgeons's office in an attempt to explain the urgency still existed that my emergency department doctor of my local hospital assessed existed. Once I was notified of this I was able to get the patient relations staff member of my local hospital to communicate with the medical secretary of my surgeon and sort out getting the referral into her possession. The medical secretary has contacted me with my appointment. It will be in 8 days. Everything considered I am being taken care of. I don't think I could ask for more than this. I am grateful I have been taken seriously.
