The Results Of My Seroma Ultrasound
[ Tuesday August 5th 2025 at 4:15 pm ]

I received the results of my seroma ultrasound this afternoon. The radiologist compared this against the original ultrasound from April 26th 2025. My seroma shrank by about 15%. None of what the ultrasound report has said about my incision area has surprised me. This confirms the typical process for my seroma to resolve itself is not happening and is now unable to happen.

This isn't dangerous or in any way harmful. It is very painful. I have a pain management doctor I trust. He is both helpful and responsive to me. He is doing what is reasonable and possible for me. In essence I keep alternating between a pain patient and an orthopaedic patient.

The fluid contains mostly plasma. Plasma in the blood brings healing. With my left hip being operated on so many times an overabundance was sent to my hip region to help my body heal. At the moment the plan is to replace my other artificial hip by December 21st 2025. The pain from my stomach ulcer is going down. It needs a few more weeks to heal. It shouldn't be a factor in delaying my other artificial hip being replaced by too long. Things are starting to line up for me to have my next operation.
