Performed A Diagnostic Joint Injection On My Right Knee

I decided to perform a diagnostic joint injection. I just finished. This has been successful. I remain just having a knee problem. This is instead of there being a problem in my spine that is causing me knee pain.
The purpose of a diagnostic joint injection is to determine the source of pain or at least eliminate that the source of the pain isn't in the joint. I injected some local freezing into my right knee. It has stopped the pain. This means if I have knee replacement surgery it would be successful in stopping the pain and I would have a better quality of life.
When I have my appointment tomorrow this will be useful information for my surgeon. If I am going to be assertive about my knee while I am with my surgeon tomorrow I needed to settle for myself that I was fighting the right battle. I can't live with myself asking the surgeon to do something I wouldn't be willing to do if I was in his shoes. I don't fight every battle. Knee replacement surgery needs to be fought for. I have already embraced and tried every other non-surgical option. This affirms knee replacement surgery is likely to be successful for me. I will only need to put in the effort to recover.
