Initial Inquiries For Travel To Hamilton Ontario For Medical Travel

The surgeon I have is relocating to Hamilton Ontario in August 2026. I like him a lot. What is wrong with my joints isn't normal. By the time he moves I will have had 3 surgeries with him. None of my orthopedic surgeries have been normal. I am expecting my other knee will need to be replaced after my surgeon has moved. There is also the need for a surgery to remove the seroma that formed following my April 2nd 2025 operation to replace my original left artificial hip. I want to be able to stay with him when he is established at his new hospital. I have made some preliminary inquires to sort out the logistics of the travel and any emergency maintenance my power wheelchair would require while I am in Hamilton Ontario. I have decided to reach out to the City of Hamilton's mayor office since they will know what resources are in the city and the people I actually need to talk to. This isn't time sensitive. I am sure I will be able to work out solutions long before August 2026.
