The next step in getting ready for surgery is advanced meal preparation. By doing this I will be able to focus on the recovery from my right knee joint replacement surgery. This is instead of having to devote time and energy into the meal planning and preparation. What I am making right now is a large batch of vegetable soup in my slow cooker. To freeze this I have purchased glass canning jars. But instead of canning home grown food I will freeze the meals I am preparing.
