Ordered A New Mattress And Mattress Protector

I have broke the mattress I purchased 6 years ago. It has springs in the bottom layer. The springs bent outwards where I have my electric hospital bed positioned to support my body and reduce pain. It is no longer usable.
I have done the research to find the firmness rating of a mattress that is designed for orthopaedic patients. Then I spent the time looking at the specifications of mattresses to find a match. I have ordered one. It should be here tomorrow. It is a mattress in a box. It will need time to puff up back to it's original size.
I have been waking up with my quad muscles in a lot of pain. The pain this is contributing has me stuck in a cycle of nausea. The other pain is from my recent surgery. I just can't manage for much longer with the nausea. It is too oppressive. I am really hoping when I start using this mattress it will break the nausea cycle. Otherwise the only solution I can think of getting myself back in the hospital until I've made more progress recovering from the surgery.
