Incision Check Up

I have been removing green pus from my knee replacement incision for the past 3 days. I have just had my incision assessed by my family doctor again. The good news is that the infection is localized and not into my artificial joint. A blister has formed over top of one of the slough instances. This is able to be treated with Polysporin to assist it in healing and beating the current infection. I will be plenty glad when I am past my incision getting infected. It has been very concerning. I would do anything reasonable to avoid a revision surgery or surgery to clean an infection from my artificial knee hardware.
