Making My Website More Cell Phone And Tablet Friendly

I have done some maintenance to my web site. I am trying to make it more cell phone and tablet friendly. I had hoped Bootstrap would have been able to do a better job of adjusting for the device the website is being viewed on. But I now think my expectations have been too much.
Instead I have setup a duplicate set of files. Then I am beginning to do formatting tweaks for the files designated for cell phones and tablets that are compatible with a smaller screen size. It sure is an adjustment figuring all this out. I have only had a cell phone since June 2024. They are handy devices. The way of the Internet now exists makes extensive use of them. I am hoping to chip away at this over several months to make a more polished version of my web site.
