Booked Travel For My October 6th 2026 Surgeon Appointment

The next appointment with my surgeon is on October 6th 2026. I have now booked VIA Rail to take me to Kingston for my appointment. All the VIA Rail employees involved in the accessibility needs for me to travel using my power wheelchair have treated me very well. They have also been respectful towards my power wheelchair and ensuring it is safe.
The City of Kingston has done something right. There is a bus route that goes between the train station and two of the hospitals in Kingston. I don't have to switch buses during this portion of the travel. The City of Kingston uses the Transit app. I am able to see when the bus is going to arrive. It is a really solid system the City of Kingston setup. I always really appreciate the people that make the logistics of attending my medical treatment possible.
