Gift Of USB Charger For My Power Wheelchair

My power wheelchair has had a thorough overhaul during the past few weeks. While I was at the dealership I asked if they had a USB charging port accessory for my power wheelchair. They called the manufacturer. It is available for power wheelchairs quadriplegics use. But there isn't one for the style of power wheelchair I have. They talked about me after I left. One of the technicians had the accessory USB charging port for my model power wheelchair. It gets electricity from the connection my power wheelchair uses to recharge. They are giving it to me for free. Why I asked about this is because on Friday my cell phone got down to 1% battery charge. The city where I live has an app that displays a QR code for boarding the transit bus. I need to be able to keep my cell phone powered while I am away from home. Where this will really help me is if I am outside longer than I expect, have the screen on a high brightness setting and need to charge my phone. This will treat my power wheelchair batteries as a battery bank. It is very practical and helpful. When things like this happen it always makes me feel encouraged.
