More Progress With My Right Knee Replacement Physiotherapy
[ Tuesday August 11th 2026 at 4:30 pm ]

I attended the 50+ rehabilitation swim from 2:00pm to 3:00pm and family swim from 3:15pm to 4:30pm. I got far enough along coaxing motion out of my knee during the 50+ Rehabilitation Swim that during Family Swim my right knee popped twice. Once occurred when my right leg was fully extended forward and the other instance was when fully extended backwards. I asked my surgeon about this on Thursday. When a patient has a particularly high amount of swelling additional scar tissue forms as the knee joint heals from surgery. When this popping happens without pain it is typically a bit of scar tissue letting go. I have managed to unlock a larger range of motion in my right knee joint. The increased range of motion isn't permanent yet. I need to work this hard to make the tendons and ligaments longer for the increased range of motion to become it permanent. What matters the most is that my right artificial knee joint wants to heal. What I need to happen is occurring. With how concerning this recovery from surgery has been It is truly wonderful to see my knee joint making progress.
