48 Hour Follow Up Phone Call Following My Right Artificial Hip Revision Surgery

I have just got off the phone with a nurse from the orthopaedic unit of the hospital where I had my surgery on November 26th 2025. To be honest this was my 9th hip surgery. All I was really interested in was reviewing the criteria for blood clots. Without being boastful I know the rest of the stuff that goes on with hip surgery.
The nurse had 1 point she wanted to raise with me. My post surgery discharge instructions say to only take (1) 81 mg Aspirin to prevent blood clots. The standard protocol is (2) 81 mg Aspirin to prevent blood clots following joint replacement surgery. She is going to check with my surgeon and get back to me.
