Someone Dropped Off Some Food To Make The Healing And Recovery From Surgery Process Easier On Me

I have had a pleasant surprise. Someone in the community wanted to support me now that I am home from the hospital. She dropped off a care package. She has prepared some homemade food. It was so thoughtful. Looking back she had been regularly checking with me how my time in hospital was progressing. In that sense it isn't surprising. But each time I have gone through an operation I have been living in the moment. I miss social cues and other patterns I'd normally pick up on because of what it takes and how physically tired having joint replacement surgery is.
