Attended The Emergency Department Of My Local Hospital For Diarrhea

I started having diarrhea on December 9th. It is actually getting worse. I had diarrhea 14 times yesterday. I am trying to recover from my artificial hips being replaced. It isn't sustainable having to go to the toilet 14 times in a day. They have given me a kit to collect a sample of my stool for infection to bring back when I have diarrhea again tomorrow. They also did blood work to check that I don't have an infection. I have been given some dietary restrictions to promote healing. The physician assistant has told me to drink a mixture of 50% apple juice with 50% water and this will ensure I maintain suitable electrolytes while having diarrhea. This is the result of a recent study. The physician assistant also showed me when to drink more based on the color of my urine. I think they have done what is reasonably possible to help me. If this continues I will return to the emergency department for further assistance.
